While a convection oven spends minutes trying to stabilize, a UHP lamp hits the mark in seconds. When you&amp;rsquo;re trying to push more wafers through the line, those saved minutes add up fast.&#xA;But you can&amp;rsquo;t just throw any lamp in there.&#xA;In this world, &amp;ldquo;outgassing&amp;rdquo; is a nightmare. One tiny bit of metallic contamination and your silicon is ruined. To stop that, we use high-purity synthetic quartz envelopes. We also keep a very close eye on the filaments. If the wattage isn&amp;rsquo;t tight, you get hot spots, and hot spots lead to bad parts.&#xA;&lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.com&#34;&gt;there&lt;/a&gt; is a bit of a balancing act, though.&#xA;Sure, higher wattage means faster heat. But if you push it too hard without proper zoning, you&amp;rsquo;re asking for trouble. You could crack the quartz tube or warp the substrate. It&amp;rsquo;s a delicate &lt;a href=&#34;https://henruite.com&#34;&gt;dance&lt;/a&gt; between speed and stress.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The reality of making the switch.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;If you&amp;rsquo;re thinking about moving from hot air to IR, just know it isn&amp;rsquo;t a &amp;ldquo;plug and play&amp;rdquo; situation. You&amp;rsquo;ll need to tweak your PID controllers. Because IR reacts almost instantly, your tuning has to be much sharper. If you aren&amp;rsquo;t careful, you&amp;rsquo;ll overshoot your target temperature before the system even realizes it&amp;rsquo;s heating.&#xA;And don&amp;rsquo;t forget your cooling.&#xA;Not all that radiant heat hits the wafer. Some of it bounces. If your cooling system isn&amp;rsquo;t sized right, you&amp;rsquo;ll end up baking your own machine components.&#xA;It takes a bit of setup, but once it&amp;rsquo;s dialed in?
